Product Review: Bariatric Advantage Omega-3 Chewy Bites

I recently did a product review on the Bariatric Advantage Omega-3 Chewy Bites. I have tried taking the Omega-3 capsules in the past and they were always just to big.

Since having weight loss surgery in ’09 I have been taking bariatric vitamins and thought I would give the Bariatric Advantage Omega-3‘s a try as well.

The just come in berry flavor and I’m usually not a big fan of berries, unless it’s strawberries, but these tasted great! They had a light flavor and kind of reminded me of a Starburst candy.

If your like me and hate the giant capsules, give the BA Omega-3‘s a try!

*These delicious chews make taking Omega-3 as easy as can be! Each sugar-free berry flavored chew provides 160mg of EPA and DHA, to support optimal essential fatty acid intake.*

To the person who’s planning to have weight loss surgery, especially restrictive and/or malabsorptive procedures (I had the DS), I would DEFINITELY recommend, SUGGEST even, they spend their dollars wisely the FIRST time and purchase vitamins and other supplements from companies like Bariatric Advantange and Vitalady. That’s INSTEAD of just buying up what they need at the local GNC, Costco or Walmart. There’ll be plenty of time for that later, after the first 9 mos to a year. If you’re not used to having to take so many supplements, you’re gonna want them to taste great and be easy TO take, helping you be more successful.

    That’s my 2 cents.

I’ve been trying to make sure my bariatric vitamins don’t have any additives or fillers and now I see that Bariatric Advantage has had a recall of their vitamins because it may contain milk protein not listed on the label. I think this would be bad news for people allergic to milk.

Any suggestions for vitamins with no fillers or additives?

    Thanks!
